Yesterday the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) announced that New York will be hosting its very own fashion week for men to compete with the European dates, reports After Nyne’s Lauren Reed.
July 13-16 2015, will see Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein collection, Michael Kors and Rag & Bone showcasing their collections on home soil. Skylight Clarkson sq will play host to this display of talent that America has to offer in terms of menswear.
“American menswear has never been stronger or more creative. There are many reasons the CFDA is launching New York Fashion Week: Men’s,” Steven Kold (CEO of the CFDA) told CNBC. “It gives the designers a business platform to show during their market dates and is an opportunity to demonstrate the collective talent of an important segment of our industry. “
After the success of London Collection: Men, it seems only natural for New York to follow suit (pun intended) and at After Nyne we can’t wait to see what these American designers have to showcase in the Big Apple.
