London College of Fashion announces its first stand-alone MA Womenswear catwalk show which will be held on the 19th February at The Wallace Collection on the eve of London Fashion Week.
The show, part of LCF’s MA15 graduate season, will feature collections from twelve students from the MA Fashion Design Technology Womenswear course. The students were selected by a panel of key industry figures including i-D’s Julia Sarr-Jamois, Hunger’s Holly Fraser, Fenwick’s Amadine Hayward and Becc Gray of Bloody Gray.
The students featured hail from across the globe reflecting LCF’s position as a leading global provider of fashion education, research and consultancy.
Anders Sølvsten Thomsen will be styling the show, having worked closely with the students on shaping their collections and make up will be led by M∙A∙C’s Andrew Gallimore, with nails by Liza Smith for CND Nails. Bacchus will be producing the show and Shelley Durkan is leading the casting of models.
Professor Frances Corner OBE, Pro-Vice Chancellor of UAL and Head of London College of Fashion said ‘By separating our MA catwalks it allows us to profile the Womenswear course the at a time when the fashion industry’s eyes are on London. The standalone show gives LCF an excellent opportunity to showcase the wealth of exciting, creative and commercially savvy talent that our Graduate school produces.’
The show is strictly RSVP (please apply to the press office for tickets) and will be live streamed from the LCF website and Not Just a Label.
