Shock Catwalk Takeover: Hiro + Wolf at the Athenaeum

An outlandishly stylish parade of neon neckerchiefs and 3D appliqué coats trots its way down the runway… so far, so Fashion Week… but this was emphatically not a catwalk show, as, this week, for one night only, Hiro + Wolf (plus a few more four-legged friends) took to the Athenaeum’s dogwalk to showcase their eponymous fashion line.

Designed by the pair’s two-legged BFFs, Amy Fleuriot and Bee Friedman, who met whilst being walked in London Fields, the range of coats, leads and collars – inspired by the designs of Victoria Beckham and Balenciaga – is available online, alongside a selection of accessories for cats, and even humans. However, guests of the dog-friendly Athenaeum Hotel and Apartments will also be able to rent pieces from the range for the duration of their stay, in order to ensure their four-legged friends remain poised at the cutting edge of London doggie style.

Dogwalk at the AthenaeumCombining East African fabrics, sourced on regular trips to Kenya, with “a minimalist East London aesthetic” – at least one member of the family will have their “street-style-spotter-ready” Fashion Week outfit sorted…
